About 3,000 academicians and agriculture researchers from universities and colleges in the country as well as government extension workers have already registered to the National Conference on Agricultural Science and Technology (NCAST) 2022 to be held virtually on March 24 and 25.
Philippine Agriculture Association (PAA) Tamarind Chapter organized the virtual conference in partnership with Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU), Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU), SAFE Network, and PAA Regional Chapters Luzon Cluster. BPSU Vice President for Research Extension, and Training Services and PAA Tamarind Chapter President Dr. Hermogenes Paguia said the two-day event will be highlighted by 20 plenary sessions with paper presentations on varied agri-researches.
Paguia is also the coordinator of the PAA Chapters Luzon Cluster. Some papers to be presented are Dairy Buffalo Enterprise in the Phiippines, Agricultural Development Opportunities Amidst Pandemic, and Swine Repopulation Initiatives and Interventions of DA against ASF among others. SAFE Network Executive Chairman Prof. Dr. Nabiizar Nazir is the Keynote Speaker who will discuss the topic “Science, Technology, Innovation, and Entreprenership Skills in New Product Development” on the first day.
